With fears of a brand new wave of Covid hitting India, stress is on to vaccinate extra of the inhabitants. Despite being the world’s largest producer of Covid vaccines, there’s been criticism that the rollout has been gradual.

Health specialists say that till the virus is contained in nations like India, the pandemic gained’t be over for the world. But there are some glimmers of hope.

BBC South Asia correspondent Rajini Vaidyanathan stories from one distant district within the north-eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh, which has managed to vaccinate the overwhelming majority of adults – in opposition to all odds.
