A report of suicide attack on a convoy of foreigners was issued in Bisham area of Shangla district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the trial of 20 arrested suspects will be held in the anti-terrorism court.
According to Express, the sources said that the report said that the convoy of 12 vehicles included 9 vehicles of Chinese engineers and workers, in which 26 foreigners were on board.
It has been reported that the car, the suicide bomber’s body and the mobile number were also found from the spot, and the facilitators who were in contact with the suicide bomber were identified from the mobile number.
According to the report, geo-fencing and geo-tagging of the incident was also done and an accused Adil was detained, after which more arrests were made and important arrests were also made from Swabi, Bitgram, Mansehra, Charsadda and Kachlaq Balochistan and 29 accused were arrested. was nominated.
The document said that these 29 accused had filed a bail application in the ATC court which was dismissed but they approached the High Court and the bail appeal of 18 was accepted while the appeal of two accused was dismissed.
Similarly, a challan has been prepared against the 20 accused and handed over to the prosecution and the search for other facilitators involved in the attack is also on.
Sources said that the detailed report of the incident has also been shared with the Chinese authorities.
It should be remembered that on March 26, 2024, 5 Chinese nationals including a Pakistani driver were killed as a result of a suicide attack on a coaster vehicle in Besham.
According to the sources, a terrorist was also killed in the incident that took place on Bisham Karakoram highway, whose case was registered in CTD Swat police station.
