Area of KarachiIn Artha Nazimabad, robbers shot and injured a policeman on resistance.
In this regard, SSP District Central Zeeshan Siddiqui said that the policeman who was injured in the firing of robbers near Saima Bridge View Apartment in North Nazimabad Block B was identified as 32-year-old Adnan Qamar, who is a police officer of District West. Iqbal was stationed at the market police station and dressed in plain clothes.
The motorcycle-riding robbers tried to rob the policeman and on resistance, the robbers were shot. However, the policeman showed courage and bravery and the robbers were shot back and the officers as a whole were killed. Nine to ten shots were fired and as a result the bandits escaped with injuries.
SSP Central further informed that the blood of the escaped robbers was found lying on the road for a long distance.
In this regard, SHO North Nazimabad Adeel Ahmed said that the police is closely monitoring the government and private hospitals in search of the robbers who escaped with injuries and the robbers who injured the policeman will be arrested soon.
