The US mediation has agreed to a ceasefire between Pakistan and India, but the Modi government is still standing on its stubbornness.
According to the British news agency, four Indian officials confirmed that despite the ceasefire, the Indus Treaty would remain suspended.
Indian authorities told a foreign news agency that after the Pahalgam attack, ceasefire on decisions and sanctions against Pakistan would not have any effect.
He said that immediately after the Pahalgam attack, trade and visa sanctions imposed on Pakistan would also be imposed despite the ceasefire.
Indian officials say the sanctions and decisions imposed before the ceasefire will not make any difference. They will remain intact.
It should be remembered that the suspension of the Sindh Tas Treaty was termed by Pakistan as a warning act, saying that India has been violated by international law.
