Former Pakistan hockey team captain Olympian Mansoor Ahmed celebrates the seventh anniversary with great devotion and respect۔

He played 338 international matches for Pakistan from 1986 to 2000. He participated in the three Olympics, three World Cup and ten Champions Trophy tournaments.
Bronze won the 1986 World Cup, Silver in the 1990 World Cup and the Gold Medal in the 1994 World Cup. The Silver Medal at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics won numerous medals at the 1990 Beijing Asian Games and many medals in the Champions Trophy.
His career includes a total of 12 gold, 12 silver and 8 bronze medals. In 1994, Pakistan’s best player was honored, became part of the World XI in 1994 and the All Asian Stars team in 1996, while four times the tournament was named the best goalkeeper.
He was also a flag bearer of the Pakistani squad at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. The Government of Pakistan was awarded the President’s Award in 1988 and the Pride of Performance in 1994.
