So we saw a decrease in trade and other issues with Afghanistan. We started sending Afghan refugees back. But then Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar went with a large delegation, so it was decided to reopen the trade, the relations appeared to be normal.

During this visit, the Afghan Taliban announced that they would not allow their territory to be used against Pakistan. After which the trade was also announced. After that, TTP terrorism in Pakistan saw a decline but terrorism did not end. After the recent Pak -India tension, we saw India paying extraordinary attention to Afghanistan. India looked attracted to Afghanistan rather than the largest countries in the world. Therefore, after the Pak -India ceasefire, India’s extraordinary focus was nothing short of a threat to Pakistan.

In view of this threat, China arranged a trilateral talks in Beijing. Where the Foreign Ministers of Afghanistan and China came together. There were also Pak -China talks. Pakistan -Afghanistan talks were also held and then the foreign ministers of Afghanistan and Pakistan sat together. Here, Pakistan also spoke of Afghanistan’s cooperation in preventing terrorism. The Afghan soil was talked about to stop the use of Pakistan.

Talking to prevent India from using Afghanistan’s land against Pakistan. In Beijing, Pakistan and China put pressure on Afghanistan to stay away from India. It is important to note here that China is making great investment in Afghanistan and Afghanistan’s dependence on China has increased since the US withdrawn Afghanistan aid. However, for the first time, a clear message has been given to the groups involved in terrorism in Pakistan that no armed struggle against Pakistan is legitimate. I see it as a major change in the Afghan Taliban policy. Which will have far -reaching consequences on the region.

This is a great victory in Pakistan. This is not just a diplomatic victory. When relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan were strained, we also had surgical strikes in Afghanistan. Whoever had a clear message to Afghanistan that Pakistan would not interfere with any major move.

If cooperation between Afghanistan and Pakistan increases to end terrorism, it is best for both countries. Afghanistan and Pakistan can find new avenues for trade and economic cooperation. Economic cooperation between the two countries will lead to lasting development for Afghanistan. Perhaps Afghanistan has realized that it has the benefit of walking with Pakistan rather than being used against Pakistan.

Perhaps the Afghans have also understood that they have the benefit of in love with Pakistan rather than opposition to Pakistan. India, which appears to be arrested, is not ready to grant a visa to a single Afghan and provide any economic cooperation. Therefore, if the Afghan Taliban government has to convince itself as a peaceful government in the world, then the policy of facilitating terrorism will have to be abolished. It is the good of Afghanistan. We hope that the Taliban leadership of Afghanistan may have understood this.
