An incident of theft of 7 million rupees has taken place in the house of writer and singer Baidal Masroor, while Provincial Minister for Culture and Tourism Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah took notice of this incident.
Provincial Minister for Culture and Tourism Syed Zulfikar directed the SSP District East to contact Baidal Masroor regarding the incident and said that the arrest of the accused involved in the theft should be ensured.
The writer and singer returned home after filing a case of theft of 30 lakh rupees in Sachal police station. The unknown accused also stole the amount of 40 lakh rupees kept in the house and escaped.
He said that he went to the Arts Council around 6:00 pm on Wednesday and reached home around 11:30 pm. The things in my room were scattered and 3 million rupees in the oil box that he had kept was missing.
Baidal Masroor said that the money was kept in my room while his wife, daughter and daughter-in-law were also present in the house, however, after the second incident of theft, there is a strong possibility that the accused knew about it or was sent to tell him that the money was kept in oil boxes and in the first incident, he took away one box containing 30 lakh rupees, after which the accused took away 40 lakh rupees from the room in the second incident of theft.
SP Sohrab Goth Division Baki Rind said that SHO Sachal and DSP Baidal Masroor are present at the residence to investigate the incident and the mystery of the theft will be solved soon.
