Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said that after the stadium up gradation, he announced his revenue to replace the Passes from the ICC.


Addressing a press conference at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, Lahore, Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi formally said that the inaugural ceremony will be held on February 7 at Gaddafi Stadium.

The inauguration ceremony of the Champions Trophy will be held on February 16, with special guests will be Shahbaz Sharif, while the inauguration of the National Stadium Karachi will be held on February 11, where President Asif Ali Zardari will be the special guest.

Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that all the officials and officials of the event, including the head of the International Cricket Council (ICC), have been invited.

He said that an additional amount was spent during the upgradation of the stadium, which had an increase of LED lights, including sound system, etc. But to reduce the costs, ICC had to receive passes which would be forbidden by taking its revenue.

“We have asked for a revenue in place of the ICC passes to the host country,” Mohsin Naqvi said.

The head of the Pakistan Cricket Board added that we (ie) PCB does not grant any grant from the federal government. It is the board’s own money.

Referring to Saim Ayub, Chairman PCB said that the young opener will now feel a little bit and doctors have advised him to rest for 4 more to 5 weeks.
