When Express News aired a report on the problems of these homeless people during the winter season, philanthropists opened the doors of their hearts to help these homeless people. A group of philanthropists from Shahr Quaid started distribution of quilts, blankets and beds to the residents of these footpaths under Aadhu Aap. It should be remembered that the last two 13 homeless people died due to cold in Shahr Quaid.
The people involved in this group say that in order to avoid the cold, the people of high status should help these homeless people under their help.

Kashif Khan, a volunteer participating in this welfare work, said that in order to earn a living in Karachi, those who come from other cities cannot afford to rent a house for their residence and they try to save money by spending less on themselves. They can send this money home so that their families can easily meet their expenses, so they work during the day, and at night the bridges and footpaths are at home.
He said that apart from these people, the footpath is also home to drug addicts and people who pick garbage. All these individuals bear the rigors of all seasons. A large number of people are seen sleeping under shelters placed outside shops or footpaths in different areas.
Apart from this, there are many poor patients outside and inside Jinnah Civil Abbasi Shaheed and other government hospitals who come to Karachi from different cities for treatment. are included. These people have no mechanism to avoid cold.
Volunteers Mohammad Bilal and Abdul Wasi Khan, who distributed quilt blankets to the residents of the footpath, said that we are a group of few philanthropists and friends who use the platform of “Khushiyan” to distribute quilts, mattresses, pillows and blankets to the homeless with their limited resources.
