The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) meeting revealed that JUI was given The Federal Ministry of Communications has made more than 5,000 illegal recruits in 2022 and 2023.
A meeting of the committee chaired by Chairman PAC Junaid Akbar was held where thousands of illegal recruits were revealed in the Ministry of Communications and the audit objection was informed that the recruitment of the Ministry of Communications was made in Grade 1 to Grade 15 during Maulana Asad Mahmood.
Audit officials said that people were also recruited who did not even apply for the recruitment, to which Junaid Akbar said that the majority of the documents were also fake and a post was sold in 10 to 1.5 million.
Ministry of Communications officials said that action was being taken against those whose documents were wrong, Chairman PAC said that this was a big problem, many people did not come for tests and many people did not come for interview and the matter was sent to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Senator Afnanullah Khan of the ruling party Muslim League -N said that there should be action against those who took the money and took these ease.
Pakistan Post officials said that people have taken the stand in all the High Courts, the people who sent us home were restored by the court while the meeting revealed the illegal recruitment of 314 people by the Pakistan Post Office.
Authorities said Postal Services said that people had bought vacancies with money, such reports from Multan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Secretary Ministry of Housing said that I have sent 417 people home, I have issued show cause notices to those who have recruited them.
Junaid Akbar said that calling all the attorney generals and telling the issue that the end is over, the Secretary Communications said that disciplinary proceedings were initiated but the court orders were taken from the courts, the people who were recruited by the advertisement have been removed, which the chairman said.
The PAC has decided to send the matter to the NAB and summoned the Attorney General of Pakistan on the matter and the committee directed the Ministry of Communications to resolve the matter in a week without the permission of the finance division.
