Lahore:
The Punjab Wildlife Department registered a case against the owner of the tiger breeding farm while taking action on the case of tiger attack on a citizen.
Umar Iqbal Dowla has built a breeding farm for lions in Lalazar area of Lahore.
Yesterday, for the purpose of making Tik Tok, Umar Iqbal Dolla entered a man named Azeem in the cage of lions, on which the lions attacked him and seriously injured him.
The Punjab Cabinet has approved legislation to keep tigers in homes while the Wildlife Act, 1974 has also been amended.

Strict action will be taken against those who do not follow the SOPs for keeping tigers across Punjab as soon as notification is issued by Punjab Government.
SOPs have been drawn up for the required space, cage size and height for the lions. There will be a crackdown on displaying lions’ pups, while strict action will be taken on making Tiktoks with them and uploading them on social media.
