Trump has banned transgenders banned in the army, judges turned back

usa news: Donald Trump has taken many controversial decisions since becoming President. However, the court had also stayed many of his decisions. In this series, Trump signed an executive order and banned the recruitment of transgender community in the US Army. However on Tuesday (March 18), a Federal Judge stopped this ban of Trump administration citing the principle of equality, which suspended the order.

The judge has banned the order given by President Trump in late January, referring to the declaration of US independence. It states that all humans have been made equal.

The court said this said

US District Judge Ana Rayes gave his verdict on Tuesday in the Talbot vs Trump case. During this, the judge said that this policy -to -government policy violates the constitutional rights of the service members of the community. The court said that the government has not been successful in proving that any valid military objective is fulfilled by imposing such restrictions.

Why did Trump take this decision

According to the report of the Advocate, the case was brought to court on behalf of 20 transgender persons by Glad Law and National Center for Lesbian Rights. These 20 people were either serving in military or preparing to join it. This decision of the court proved to be a major setback for the efforts of the Trump administration to remove transgender soldiers from military.

Trump administration had argued that this ban was necessary for the preparation of the army, solidarity between the unit and the reduction in cost. However, Judge Ana Rayes completely rejected this argument.

In 2016, the policy of the Defense Department allowed transgender soldiers to openly serve. However, during the tenure of President Donald Trump, he implemented a ban on transgender soldiers, which was later approved by the Supreme Court. Later President Joe Biden who took over, ended the ban after taking over. Rights
