WASHINGTON / Tehran: US President Donald Trump has responded to a report claiming that he has canceled the Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear installations.
The well -known US newspaper The New York Times reported Wednesday that Trump has advised Israel not to attack the nuclear dispute with Iran, not to attack Israel.
However, Trump replied, “I will not say that the attack has been canceled.” He added, “I am not in a hurry to take military action on Iran’s nuclear installations, because my first option is always negotiations.”
President Trump said that Iran has the opportunity to become a great country, and if another option (military action) had to go, it would be very harmful to Iran.
According to sources, Israel planned to attack Iran’s nuclear centers in May to pushed Iran back from the ability to make nuclear weapons. US assistance was considered necessary for the attack to prevent Iran’s possible retaliation.
Meanwhile, the second round of nuclear talks between Iran and the United States has also arisen. The Iranian Foreign Ministry has termed the change of negotiations a “professional mistake” and said the move reflects the lack of good faith.
