Tuck Talk imposed a fine of millions of dollars

Video sharing platform Talk Talk imposed a fine of $ 60 million in Ireland.

This penalty has been imposed by Ireland’s Data Protection Commission (DPC) to transfer European Tuck Talk users’ data from European Economic (EEA) to China.

The decision said that Tick Talk violated the European Union’s GDP rules regarding China’s transfer of EEA users data.

With the payment of fines, Talk Talk will have to be brought under the GDPR processing within the next six months. Otherwise, data transfer of China to China will be stopped.

Earlier, Tuck Talk said that the company did not store EEA users’ data in the server in China, but last month the company informed the DPC about a problem that the company’s knowledge came to know that some EEA users had been stored in servers in China.

Later, Tick Talk told the DPC that the data on the server had been deleted.
