UAE President meet Pakistan PM: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met Islamic Republic of Pakistan Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday (February 11) in Abu Dhabi. In fact, Shahbaz Sharif is on a UAE work trip to participate in the World Government Summit 2025.

This summit is being held in Dubai from 11 to 13 February 2025 and its main subject is to shape future governments.

Discussion on deepening UAE-Pakistan relations

During the meeting held in Abu Dhabi’s Kasar al -Shati, there was a discussion on ways to strengthen cooperation between UAE and Pakistan. In which the focus on economic, trade and development areas, which are associated with the sustainable economic development and prosperity of the two countries. In view of your interests, investment and business opportunities were discovered.

Dialogue on global rule and regional stability
Global rule and emerging trends were also discussed in the meeting, which will help governments to make better preparations for economic and technical changes. Emphasis was laid on cooperation for stability and peace in the Middle East. The two leaders agreed to the need for permanent peace on the basis of two-state solutions.

Pakistan’s commitment
Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan is committed to further strengthening its long term relations with the UAE. Emphasis was laid on expanding cooperation in economic, trade and investment sectors.

In this big meeting, many senior UAE officials, including the Crown Prince Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of Abu Dhabi, Representative of the ruler in Al Dhafra area, Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Minister and Internal Minister Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zaid Al Nahyan, tolerance and co-existence Minister Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Supreme Council General Secretary for National Security, Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Dr. Anwar Gargash, diplomatic advisor to the UAE President, were also included.

Important issues like global governance, economic cooperation, trade and investment were discussed in the meeting. The Middle East showed the need for international efforts for stability and peace.
