UK; 25 years in prison for human trafficking to an Egyptian citizen

The British -based Egyptian, Ahmad Abid, had illegally transferred more than 3,800 migrants to Europe between 2022 and 2023.

According to the World News Agency, the South Warwark Crown Court of the United Kingdom has sentenced 42 -year -old Egyptian -born Ahmed Abid to 25 years in prison.

The court wrote in the judgment that Ahmad Abid did not have to provide employment to anyone through human trafficking, but only to earn money, even if the migrants could not go away.

The Egyptian man was accused of transferring 3,800 migrants to the Mediterranean and Britain and Europe to the Mediterranean and illegally.

Ahmad Eid was also accused of seeking financial gains only by endangering human lives through bribery, threats and violence.

During the investigation, the British Investigation agencies found that Ahmed Abid not only bribed security officials but also ordered his colleagues to call an immigrant and kill him and throw it into the sea.

It should be noted that the new UK government has decided to take stern action against those involved in serious crimes like human trafficking.
