Ukraine’s main agreement with the United States to access military aid: ‘

The United States has signed a joint use of energy and mineral resources with Ukraine after several months of negotiations, with the agreement being considered important for Ukraine access to US military aid.

According to a report by the British Broadcasting BBC, the agreement on the current rare reserves in the world has been made at a time when the trade war between the United States and China continues.

The US Treasury Department’s statement said that the US has recognized the assistance of the ‘major financial and (war) equipment’ provided to Ukraine since the Russian invasion of the Ukrainian Reconstruction Investment Fund in February 2022.

US Finance Minister Scott Basant said the agreement showed that the two sides were committed to lasting peace and prosperity in Ukraine.

It should be noted that Ukraine is found to have vast reserves of major minerals such as graphite, titanium and lithium. These minerals are used in renewable energy, military equipment manufacture and industry infrastructure, which makes them high demand.

Under this agreement, the two countries have also agreed to set up a reconstruction investment fund, which aims to promote Ukraine’s economic recovery from the war with Russia.

Remember that the deal was delayed earlier when US officials said that Ukraine was trying to make changes to the deal at the last minute.

The tone used in the deal is showing solidarity with Ukraine more than usual by the Trump administration.

Explaining the details of the Mineral Reserves Agreement, the US Finance Minister said in a video statement that the deal would help open development assets in Ukraine.

According to the US Finance Minister, the agreement is a message to Russia that the Trump administration is committed to a peace process whose axis is independent, independent and prosperous Ukraine.

In this case, Russia cited a thorough attack on Ukraine, adding that “any state or person, who had provided or financed Russian combat equipment, will not be allowed to take advantage of the reconstruction of Ukraine.”

Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Sweerdinko went to Washington to sign the important agreement on Wednesday.

“The new fund will attract global investment in our country,” he said in a post on X

Referring to the clauses of the agreement, he said the deal included minerals, oil and gas projects, while mineral resources would continue to be owned by Ukraine.

He added that the partnership would be equal to 50:50, and that it was necessary to confirm by the lawmakers in Kiyo Kaif.

He added that under the agreement, the United States will provide Ukraine with other new aid, including the air defense system

President Trump has repeatedly repeated the agreement as a prerequisite to offer Kiyo for any future security guarantee.

The draft of the deal shows that Ukraine will give Washington access to some of its natural resources in exchange for US security aid in the future, but it looks less than Trump’s hopes in which he was expected to pay all US military aid since the beginning of the war in 2022.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelannsky has managed to get some concessions from Washington.

An American source familiar with the negotiations criticized Ukraine, saying he was trying to resume some terms that were apparently finalized on the weekend.

Sources say it includes governance, transparency issues and other points.
