US Indian origin Jailed: Amandeep Singh, a 36 -year -old Indian origin in the US, was sentenced to 25 years for driving at a speed of 150 km per hour while driving. Two teenagers died in this accident. The accident occurred in May 2023 on Long Island, New York, killing 14 -year -old Ethan Falkovitz and Drew Hasenbean. The incident took place on 3 May 2023, when Amandeep Singh drove a car at a high speed in the wrong direction in a state of intoxication. The amount of alcohol in his blood was doubled from the legal limit and he also consumed cocaine. They were going at a speed of 95 miles (150 km) per hour in an area with a speed limit of 40 mph. He hit the car of teenagers coming from the front, killing two teenagers on the spot and injured the other two seriously.

Drew Hasenbeen’s father Michi said, “I had to identify my son not from school, but in the morgue.” This accident put the families in deep shock. Expressing strong displeasure over Singh, the grandfather of Drew said, “You should have gone home, but you killed my grandson.”

Amandeep Singh apologized for his actions in the court, saying, “It was my fault. If someone should have died, it was me.” Singh admitted his mistake and said that he would live with this sin throughout his life.

According to the police report, after the accident, Singh fled from the spot and was later arrested hiding behind a garbage pile behind a nearby shopping center.
