US President Donald Trump on US-China relations and his phone conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping said, “He called me but I think it’s very good. I think we’re going to have a very good relationship.” We just want a level playing field. It’s just an unfair relationship for us. We have to make it a fair relationship. Not to make it extraordinary, we have to make it a fair relationship right now, it is not a fair relationship.”
‘I have good relations with Xi Jinping’
He further said, “The deficit is huge, as it is with other countries, many Asian countries but we have a huge deficit and we cannot let that happen. But I like President Xi very much, I have always liked him. We have always had very good relations. “It was very stressful after Covid came from Wuhan but we have always had a great relationship.”
President Trump said that we hope to do very good with China and work together with China. Hopefully China can help us stop war with Russia-Ukraine. They have a lot of power over that situation.
Expressed desire to meet Vladimir Putin
