KARACHI: The Sindh authorities on Friday made coronavirus vaccination obligatory for individuals providing prayers in mosques, in a bid to maintain the virus’ unfold in examine.

In a notification issued on Friday, Sindh Home Department launched a listing of up to date COVID-19 protocols for  mosques, consistent with the National Command and Operation Centre’s (NCOC) directives.

“Only fully vaccinated individuals are allowed to offer prayers in masajid to avoid risking others,” learn the notification.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, in a press release, mentioned that 6,686,895 exams had been performed within the province towards which 473,750 instances have been identified, of which 97.1% or 460,136 sufferers had recovered.

He added that 5,995 sufferers have been beneath therapy, of which 5,794 have been in home isolation, whereas 12 have been admitted to isolation centres and 189 at totally different hospitals.
