According to Dhaka Tribune, Mohammad Yunus Deputy Press Secretary Abdul Kalam Azad Majumdar said that the Chief Advisor has urged to remove the visa ban on Bangladeshis and increase the recruitment of Bangladesh workers. Also, Amirati companies have been invited to set up a factory in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh Chief Advisor Mohammad Yunus was on a visit to UAE. On Friday (February 14, 2025), he met UAE officials and businessmen on the last day of his visit. Mohammad Yunus arrived in Dubai to attend the World Government Summit.

Apart from the summit, Mohammad Yunus met many UAE ministers. Abdul Kalam Azad Mazumdar said that the meeting was specially talked about removing visa ban and increasing business. There was also a discussion to further deepen sports and education relations. Large UAE companies are planning to invest in Chittagong port in Bangladesh. During this time, it was proposed by the UAE to build an industrial park in Bangladesh, on which Mohammad Yunus agreed.

Abdul Kalam Majumdar said that Mohammad Yunus approved the proposal to build an industrial park in Bangladesh for UAE businesses in a meeting with UAE trade minister Thani bin Ahmed Al Juadi. At the same time, UAE has talked about making Bangladesh a hub for the manufacture of Halal product. Abdul Kalam Mazumdar said that this has been talked about with Mohammad Yunus and Ahmed Al Juadi told Younus that UAE can make his country a halal product manufacturing hub by using low coast labor of Bangladesh. & Nbsp;
