Was Babar Azam injured or refused to play the match himself? The reason came out

Babar Azam, the batsman of the national cricket team, has resumed batting practice in the nets after the pain subsided.

Babar Azam was ruled out of the first Test match in Dhaka due to a left knee injury.

According to latest reports, he is recovering fast.

According to team sources, Babar practiced extensively in the nets under the supervision of batting coach Asad Shafiq, while the team’s physio and trainer were also present on the occasion.

During the practice session, Babar Azam also ran between the wickets without any problem, after which the chances of his participation in the next Test match have become brighter.

The second Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be played from May 16 to 20 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

Sources say Babar’s injury was not too serious and the team management decided to rest him from the first Test as a precautionary measure.

It is further learned that Babar Azam himself did not request to stay out of the team but the decision was taken entirely by the management.

It should be noted that Babar Azam has been in great form recently, he scored 588 runs in the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League and won the title of the highest run-scoring batsman of the tournament.
