American actor and singer Jared Leto has made headlines in Russia after video-calling a terminally ailing girl on her birthday. Anastasia Petrova, living in a Moscow hospice, is a large fan of Leto’s rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars.

The name was organized by Vera, a hospice care fund that works with terminally ailing adults and kids to assist them by means of their remaining days.

Petrova, who has a cardboard determine of Leto at home, was stunned by her hero on her 27th birthday. The concept was cooked up by her brother, Maxim, who contacted the charity together with his request.

“My dream is for Jared to find out that there is this girl in Russia who is smart, beautiful, ambitious, and loving. Who believes in herself, in us, in the power of the [Thirty Seconds to] Mars family,” Maxim stated. “I dream that she hears words of support, not only from me, her mum, and sisters but also from her long-time idol and friend Jared Leto.”

Leto spoke to Petrova for over 10 minutes, and a video recording of the decision was printed by the muse.

Thirty Seconds to Mars has visited Russia on quite a few events, together with in 2018 and 2019.
