Kazakhstan Plane Crash: A passenger plane crashed on Wednesday (25 December 2024) near Aktau Airport in Kazakhstan. There were 67 passengers and crew members on board the plane. Route was changed due to fog
After this accident, Russian news agencies reported in their reports that the plane was being operated by Azerbaijan Airlines. It had taken off from Baku in Chechnya, Russia, to Grozny, but its route was changed due to fog in Grozny.

A video of rescue after the plane crash is also going viral on social media. In this, the rear part of the plane is visible, while the front part is damaged. Some people engaged in relief work are also seen taking out surviving passengers from inside the broken plane. In the video, smoke is seen coming from some parts of the plane even an hour after the accident.
Fear of death of 42 people so far
According to AP report, Kazakhstan’s Emergency Ministry issued a statement at 2 pm saying that 42 people are feared dead in the Azerbaijan Airlines crash. At the same time, information about the passengers sitting in this plane has also been revealed. There were 37 passengers from Azerbaijan, 16 from Russia, 6 from Kazakhstan and 3 from Kyrgyzstan on board the plane.
