
Weather Conditions in Saudi Arabia : Saudi Arabia, a Muslim country known as the stronghold of Islam, is a desert area, which is known for its scorching heat. But this year the weather in the country has taken such a turn that everyone is surprised to see it. While earlier snowfall was seen in Saudi Arabia, now the country is facing floods. Once again an advisory has been issued regarding heavy rains in the country.
There is a constant flow of pilgrims to Saudi Arabia throughout the year. Meanwhile, the possibility of flood has once again been raised in Mecca, the holiest city of Islam. Earlier on January 8, there was heavy rain in Mecca to Jeddah, Al-Baha and Asir provinces. Due to this, the roads all around were flooded. In which the vehicles were drowned. Now again an alert has been issued regarding heavy rain.
Chance of heavy rain in most parts of the country
Saudi Arabia’s Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in most parts of the country till coming Monday (January 27). There is also a possibility of heavy rain along with hailstorm and strong winds in Mecca to Al-Laith, Al-Kunfudah and Riyadh.
The Saudi National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted rain in some parts of Jazan, Asir and Al-Baha in south-western Saudi Arabia on Thursday (January 23). At the same time, fog is expected in some parts of the eastern province and heavy rain is expected in the northern part. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in some parts of Al Jawf, Madina and Al-Qasim.
Civil Defense officials have issued an alert regarding the safety of people amid the possibility of heavy rain. Civil Defense officials have appealed to the people to be alert and cautious. The Saudi Directorate General of Civil Defense has asked the public to exercise caution and stay in safe places and away from valleys and other affected places.
