Richard Grenell, the special adviser of the newly elected US President Donald Trump, made a surprising demand for Pakistan by mentioning Elon Musk.
On the micro-blogging website X (formerly Twitter), Trump’s adviser Richard Grenell appealed to Elon Musk to add Pakistan to the Starlink service list.
Richard Grinnell’s request comes at a time when users in Pakistan have complained of extremely slow internet access.
In response to Trump’s adviser Richard Grenell’s tweet, Tehreek-e-Insaaf leader Hamad Azhar wrote that access to social media platforms has been limited due to the censorship policy of the government of Pakistan.
Hammad Azhar supports Richard Grenell’s appeal to Elon Musk to include Pakistan in the list of Starlink service.
Hamad Azhar further wrote that social media can only be accessed through Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).
It should be noted that the government of Pakistan has rejected the allegations of any kind of obstruction in the Internet.
