Violent demonstrations in Kazakhstan have been sparked by rising gasoline costs.
A Russian-led alliance has despatched troops it calls “peacekeepers” to Kazakhstan – after the president requested for assist to quell mass protests throughout the nation.
They started on January 1, after the federal government introduced a pointy improve in gasoline costs. Indignation and violence adopted.
In an effort to calm the unrest, the federal government resigned.
The president then declared a two-week nationwide state of emergency and a shut down of the web.
