
The national team is expected to announce this week for the ICC Champions Trophy and the three -nation series.
According to media reports, the selection committee for the Champions Trophy and the domestic series had completed the initial consultation during the Test series against the West Indies, but the squad will be announced soon after the final approval of Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi.
The squad nominated for the three -country One -Day series, which begins on February 8, will represent the Pakistani team in the mega event.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) ICC rules will be allowed to announce the final squad till February 11, followed by the permission of the International Cricket Council to change the squad.

Chairman PCB and selection committee delayed the announcement of the squad due to opener Saim Ayub’s injury and his reports so that the final report of the player could be decided, but now sources say that the young opener joined the team. There is no equal to which the squad will be announced this week.
Earlier, it was reported that Pakistan had submitted a preliminary squad consisting of more than 20 players for the Champions Trophy, which also had the name of opener Saim Ayub.

In the opening squad, captain Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Taib Tahir, Irfan Khan Niazi, Safiyan Muqim, Mohammad Hassanin, Abdullah Shafiq, Naseem Shah, Usman Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Abrar Ahmed, Kamran Ghulam and Salman Ali Agha, Imam The names of Al -Haq, Fakhr Zaman, Haseebullah and Abbas Afridi are included.

Meanwhile, opener Saim Ayub, besides Abdullah Shafiq and Usman Khan, are less likely to join the final squad.
It should be noted that the first match of the three -nation series between Pakistan, New Zealand and South Africa will be played between the host Green Shirts and the Kiwis on February 8.
