Indian actress Jacqueline Fernandes received a gift worth Rs 112 crore on the occasion of Valentine’s Day.
According to Indian media reports, Succi Chandra Shekhar, arrested in a fraud case of crores of rupees in 2015, has given a private jet to his friend Jacqueline Fernandes.
Sulem Chandra Shekhar revealed the gift in a romance letter sent from jail. In the letter, he said that this is for the Gulf Stream Jet Jacqueline, whose registration number is based on the birth and month of the actress. He further wrote that this gift was given so that Jacqueline could easily travel around the world in connection with his work.
Suvash assured in the letter that this gift would not face a legal issue because the jet was not purchased from the crime. He said he was showing this jet in his tax return and would also pay the gift tax.
It is to be remembered that Sulem Chandra Shekhar has been in jail for several years on charges of financial fraud.
