Who Is India origin MP Of Nepean Chandra Arya Filling Nomination For Canada Prime Minister

Chandra Arya Nomination: Chandra Arya, Indian-origin MP from Nepean, Canada, has officially joined the race for the post of Prime Minister. He not only filed nomination but also addressed the House in Kannada. Arya, a native of Tumkur district of Karnataka, did his MBA from Dharwad before going to Canada. Earlier this week he had announced that he is contesting for the post of Prime Minister of Canada.

Recently, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced his resignation, but had said that he would remain in office until a new leader is elected. Arya wrote on social media platform X on January 13, “Our country is facing structural challenges that require drastic solutions. “We have to take bold political decisions to ensure the prosperity of our children and grandchildren.”

According to news agency IANS, Arya has been criticizing Khalistan supporters. At the same time, he has also strongly condemned the activities of targeting Hindu temples in Canada. Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar has been described as a true supporter of India. Arya has announced that he will contest the Liberal leadership election and his campaign will be to make the country ‘a sovereign republic’, taking the bold political decisions that are needed now.

“I am running to become the next Prime Minister of Canada to lead an efficient government to rebuild our country and ensure prosperity for future generations,” the Indian-origin MP wrote on Twitter. Arya wrote, we are facing problems that have not been seen for generations and which will require difficult choices to solve. I have always worked hard to do what is best for Canadians.

‘Canada is facing a crisis’

He acknowledged that the country was facing a ‘distressing storm’. The working middle class is struggling today, he said, and many working families are falling straight into poverty. Arya believes that India is an important and growing market for Canadian exports and investments and serves as a major source to meet ‘our critical talent needs’.

Canada deserves leadership that isn’t afraid to take big decisions, he said. Decisions that rebuild our economy, restore hope, and create equal opportunities for all Canadians. I look forward to taking on this responsibility and leading Canada as the next Prime Minister.
