After the transfer of three judges from Lahore, Sindh and Balochistan in the Islamabad High Court, the senior list of judges has also changed and Justice Sarfraz Dogar, who was transferred from the Lahore High Court, will now be a senior judge instead of Justice Mohsin Akhtar.
Following the approval of President Asif Zardari, the Islamabad High Court transfer to the Islamabad High Court on the Ministry of Law and then the Gazette notification, and the Senate list of the judges has also changed.
Justice Sardar Mohammad Sarfraz Dogar, who was transferred from the Lahore High Court to the Islamabad High Court, will now be the senior judge after Chief Justice Aamir Farooq and Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Aamir Farooq’s appointment in the Supreme Court Justice Sarfraz Dogar. Most senior judges will become Islamabad High Court.

Justice Sarfraz Dogar, who was coming to the Islamabad High Court, was appointed judge in the Lahore High Court on June 8, 2015, while Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani was appointed judge in the Islamabad High Court on December 23, 2015.
A Judicial Commission meeting has been convened on February 10 for the appointment of 8 new judges in the Supreme Court and for the new Chief Justice Islamabad High Court in case of Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Aamir Farooq’s appointment as a judge. Three senior names will be considered. They will be the first Justice Sarfraz Dogar.
Justice Muhammad Asif, who comes from the Balochistan High Court, has recently become an Additional Judge and sources said that Sindh High Court Judge Khadim Hussain Soomro became the High Court Judge two years ago.
Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro, who was transferred from the Sindh High Court, will be senior from Justice Saman Rafat in the Islamabad High Court’s Senior List.
