Bollywood’s leading actor Randeep Hooda has revealed to work in the famous film ‘Rang De Basanti’.
Actor Randeep Hooda revealed in a recent interview that he was offered the role of Bhagat Singh in the 2006 super hit movie Rang De Basanti, which was later played by actor Siddhartha.
The actor said that he was offered the role by the film’s director Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra, but Randeep rejected the role for filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma’s film.
Randeep Hooda admitted that if he had worked in ‘color de Basanti’, his film career would have been at a different level. He said that Rakesh Mehra often came to him and asked to work in the film, but he promised to give the lead role in Ram Gopal Verma’s film, and when he said that he had to stand behind Aamir Khan in the color de Basanti, he refused.
Randeep also revealed that he had left the film ‘Rock On’ for the reason because he wanted to play the lead role, not by standing behind an actor.
