World Angriest Country: Many types of lists keep coming up regarding the citizens living in different countries in the world, like Happiness Index List, List of Rich Countries, List of Poor Countries etc. Another such list has come out, which is based on anger. This list has been prepared by Gallup. According to the 2024 Global Emotions Report, Lebanon ranks first in the list of the angriest countries in the world. About 49% of its population reported feeling angry. This figure shows the seriousness of the ongoing political, economic and social crises in the country.
At present, Lebanon is embroiled in an ongoing war with Israel, due to which the people there are quite disappointed. During this period, about 3000 people have died in Israeli attacks, due to which the disastrous economic situation in the country has created widespread dissatisfaction among the public. Communal divisions and conflicts have made the society more unstable.
India’s position in the list of angry countries
Apart from Lebanon, Turkey is at second place with 48 percent. Which has not been able to recover till now due to the devastation caused by the earthquake last year and the economic crisis. Armenia is at number three. Which is troubled by the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and regional instability in recent times. Apart from this, Iraq, Afghanistan, Jordan, Mali and Sierra Leone are also included in the list. However, information about which number India is in this list is not available.
Reason for increasing anger in Lebanon
The biggest reason for increasing anger in Lebanon is the influence of Hezbollah. Its military and political power weakened the governance system. Rising tensions with Israel deepened insecurity among the Lebanese people. Because of this, the country faces a 6.6% economic decline in 2024. Lebanon, once called the Switzerland of the Middle East, has now become a symbol of political and economic instability.
