Yemen Kerala Nimisha Priya Case Indian Nurse Iran will help Sharia Law Ali Khamenei | Iran says it will save the life of Indian nurse trapped in Yemen

Yemen Nimisha Priya Case: Nurse Nimisha Priya, resident of Palakkad, Kerala, has been sentenced to death in Yemen. He has been accused of murdering a Yemeni citizen, Talal Abdo Mehdi (his business partner) in 2017. This case reached the Supreme Court of Yemen, where Nimisha was sentenced to death. India’s Foreign Ministry said that every possible effort will be made in this matter. Now Iran is also showing interest in this matter. Iran has offered to intervene with India in this matter.

Will do whatever we can – Iran

At present Yemen is facing many sanctions. Yemen has once again come into limelight by giving death sentence to Nimisha Priya, a resident of India. Offering support in Nimisha Priya’s case, the Iranian official said, “Whatever we can do on humanitarian grounds, we are ready to do.” His statement comes amid increasing global pressure on Yemen to reconsider the death penalty in Nimisha Priya’s case. In such a situation, the question arises whether Iran can stop Nimisha’s death sentence?

How can Iran help

The Iranian official said, “We will raise the issue. It appears he has been charged with culpable homicide.” Experts believe that Iran has influence in the Houthi-backed Yemen government. Houthi accepts everything Iran says without hesitation. In India, Nimisha’s family along with the Ministry of External Affairs appealed to the President there, but the President there has also approved the hanging. India’s Foreign Ministry said, “We are providing all possible assistance.” “We are aware of Nimisha Priya’s sentencing in Yemen.”

Nimisha’s mother sought help from the Indian government

Priya’s mother Prema Kumari, present in Yemen’s capital Sanaa, made an emotional appeal to the Indian government and the public to save her daughter’s life. Issuing a video message he said, “This is my last appeal.” She (Nimisha Priya) has only a few days left. I request the Center to make every possible effort to save his life.”
