Priyanka Gandhi With Bangladesh Bag After Palestine Row: The Congress party held a strong demonstration in the Parliament complex on Monday regarding the security of Hindu minorities in Bangladesh. Many Congress MPs including Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra participated in this demonstration. The protesting leaders demanded the central government to take concrete steps for the safety of Hindu minorities in Bangladesh.
Raising slogans, Congress MPs appealed to the Modi government at the Center to take necessary steps to immediately stop the atrocities against the Hindu community in Bangladesh. The central government should hold talks with Bangladesh at the international level on this serious issue, so that the safety of the Hindu community there can be ensured.

It is noteworthy that after the formation of the interim government in the country under the leadership of Chief Advisor Mohammad Yunus, minorities in Bangladesh, especially Hindus, have been seriously attacked by Islamic elements.

Congress leader and Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi arrived at the Parliament complex on Monday carrying a bag with “Palestine” written on it and symbols including a watermelon. Watermelon is seen as a symbol of protest and solidarity among Palestinians. This move was criticized by the BJP and termed his move as “appeasement”. BJP MP Sambit Patra targeted Priyanka Gandhi and said, “Gandhi family is carrying the bag of appeasement.” He said, it is because of this appeasement that they (Congress) have lost the elections.”
