DGCA grants in-principle approval to Air India and IndiGo to import 970 aircrafts

With 470 aircraft for Air India and 500 for IndiGo, the move, approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation, is set to bolster India’s aviation sector. The approval comes with a condition to ensure adequate parking slots during the import process. This decision aims to strengthen the airlines’ fleet and expand their operational capacity.
