With cruise passenger traffic increasing from 1.26 lakhs in 2015-16 to 4.68 lakhs in 2019-20, the Union Tourism Minister said that cruise tourism in India is poised to grow further. The Ministry of Ports Shipping and Waterways is also working towards the development of dedicated terminals for cruise passengers and vessels, besides rationalisation of port fees and easing other facilities.
