Missy Elliott Speaks On Busta Rhymes’ Heart Of Gold While Praising Him
The “Work It” rapper acknowledged Busta Rhymes in a recent Instagram post.
The upload consisted of a video, which featured Missy speaking on how Busta “brought timeless music, creativity, [and] visuals” throughout his career. However, she acknowledged, “Busta’s heart is always the thing that stood out.”
Continuing to laud his artistry, Missy announced that her “favorite Busta verse” is from “Touch It,” as she “hadn’t heard that kinda style from Busta.” We should add that Missy hopped on the track’s remix with artists like Mary J. Blige and DMX.
Missy Elliott also encouraged others to “give more flowers to Busta Rhymes.” However, she expressed that she doesn’t think there are “enough bouquets for all that [he has] done.”
“We should give more flowers to Busta Rhymes. I don’t think there’s enough bouquets for all that you have done.”
Wrapping up, Missy proclaimed, “I am honored to call you my brother. I love you—I love you with all my heart. Congratulations!”

Busta Rhymes Is “Forever Grateful” To Be In Missy’s Life
The video was accompanied by a lengthy caption highlighting how Missy and Busta “have been glued at the hip for 26 years.”
After speaking fondly of Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliott congratulated him on his award and wished him “many more.” She also noted that while he’s killin’ the game, his heart “is at the TOP of any chart.”
“To my Twin @bustarhymes we have been glued at the hip for 26 years & my LOVE & ADMIRATION for you still grows I am still in aww over your ART & your MUSIC but most of all your HEART is at the TOP of any chart! Love you bro and CONGRATULATIONS on your Lifetime Achievement award & many more to come.”
She finished by proclaiming, “Thank you for the TIMELESS MUSIC & CLASSIC VISUALS you’ve shared with the WORLD.”
In response to Missy’s upload, Busta hopped into the comment section with a warm message of his own. He wrote that he’s “forever grateful” to his “beautiful twin,” whom he “greatly appreciate[s].”
